THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Wish Restaurant Review:
Since opening in the late 1990s, The Hotel's restaurant has gone through several exciting cuisine revolutions led by a series of chefs who each brought his/her own style to the kitchen during dinner. There have also been prolonged interim periods between notable chefs. But after the early-summer 2011 departure of chef Marco Ferraro, the Goldman family (the hotel's NYC/Miami neighborhood-developer owners) decided to do something that hasn't happened before at the trendy Todd Oldham-designed place: discontinue dinner service through November 2011 --- i.e. till roughly the start of tourism high season. Till then, Wish will continue to serve breakfast, lunch and bar bites (plus handle hotel room service and private events), but these were never the fare that put the restaurant on the culinary map.
