Yama Sushi Restaurant Review:

The B52---one of 50 artful sushi selections offered at Yama---is deep-fried extravagance at its best, and easily one of the joint’s most popular concoctions. The roll features tuna, salmon, hamachi and avocado with eel sauce, with spicy aïoli colorfully drizzled over it. The end result is crunchy, sweet and savory. Another over-the-top standout worth trying is the Kamikaze: fresh spicy tuna and avocado, topped with more spicy tuna and a helping of spicy cream sauce. Some of the less monstrous notables include asparagus maki and the kanpyo maki, a cooked dry squash vegetable roll. Yama also offers more than 20 selections of nigiri, four types of udon and five Korean-style dinners, all served with salad, miso soup, rice and kimchi.
