Yanni's is a veritable pastitsio of pergolas, fountains, columns, stone, pots and vines, along with a babbling brook and a pleasant outdoor eating arena. The food holds its own against the setting, however. Begin the journey by choosing from about two-dozen hot and cold appetizers. We recommend the loukaniko, grilled octopus and the village salad. And the braised lamb with orzo and artichokes is as first-rate as the gyros and char-grilled fish of the day. The best dessert is the rice pudding, which gets a crème brûlée treatment.
