Zigolinis Restaurant Review:
Zigolinis is particularly inviting in the summer, when a large patio for al fresco dining is available. But the restaurant turns out satisfying fare year-round. Catering to a banker-heavy clientele, the lunch sandwich menu is extensive: sesame-crusted tuna, seared flank steak and a dozen cured Italian meats, for example. After the midday crowds depart, Zigolinis settles in for the evening, as you will over a nice Sauvignon Blanc or one of the other decently priced wines by the glass. Grilled salmon is served on a bed of spinach and grilled peaches; the burger is paired with barbecue sauce and onion rings under a fried egg. Desserts are passable: a brownie sundae, pie of the day or cheesecake.
