THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED 168 Restaurant Review:
At this sleek-looking restaurant with soaring ceiling and a flashy aqua sushi bar, cocktails and sushi rolls are sent out to tables both indoors and out. Starters include pork wrapped in soft buns with pickles, barbecue sauce and sambal, as well as a variety of sashimi and carpaccio dishes and spicy tuna tartare tacos. For larger plates, veteran fine dining chef Hisashi Yoshiara creates dishes with Japanese, Korean and Chinese influences, such as miso-glazed black cod, barbecued hanger steak and bo ssam (slow-roasted pork for six to ten people, requiring an advance order). Green tea tiramisu and chocolate soufflé cake are available for dessert. The globally inspired wine list is short but interesting, and the saké selection is more than adequate.
