333 Belrose Bar & Grill Restaurant Review:
Chef Carlo DeMarco hasn’t looked back since he left the city for the ’burbs. The Villanova native, formerly of Bridget Foy's, commands a loyal following in the Main Line where 333 Belrose attracts an after-work crowd and the cuisine is finely drawn. DeMarco’s solid grasp of seasonal American and global cooking is evident in creative dishes such as Java pork tenderloin with smashed yams, crispy salt and pepper calamari, and toasted macadamia nut-crusted grouper with roasted pineapple risotto. Desserts include a rich and comforting dulce de leche bread pudding with a warm caramel sauce. Wines (largely from California) less than $100 a bottle are half-off on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The handsome dining room, with its sweeping glass walls and colorful paintings, and the friendly young staff provide a warm welcome.
