Al Pacino Café Restaurant Review:
With a name as unlikely as its mission, the first Al Pacino Café, founded by a group of Egyptians in the 1980s, brought designer pizza to Baltimore. But it wasn't too long before the shock of ordering pies with odd but tasty combinations like tandoori chicken with yogurt curry, yellow squash, mozzarella and mango chutney wore off. So this trend-setting crew struck again, adding a roster of traditional Middle Eastern fare --- think baba ghanouj, falafel, shwarma and kofta kebabs. Note: The restaurant relocated to the heart of Pikesville from its former 1809 Reisterstown Rd. address.
