THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Original Ambrosia Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Never on a Sunday will you be able to order Greek food before noontime at Ambrosia, by which hour the breakfast crowds have dispersed and the kitchen crew can pay attention to such offerings as spanakopita, youvetsi and dolmades. We settled on the very ambitious Ambrosia lunch special that serves up enough food to stoke the Trojan forces, with dolmadakia and gyro garnished with tzatziki sauce. Regardless of which meal you enjoy in the no-frills old-timer, be sure to add on the house-made baklava, a huge, honey-drenched wedge of layered dough that is the best version of this dessert in the metro area. Morning fare is composed of the usual stuff: eggs, omelets, waffles and pancakes.
