THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Androuet Restaurant Review:
This institution of long repute, known worldwide for its cheese closed its restaurant in the 17th only to have it resurrected a few months later (April of 2002) in a cozy space in the 7th. Even though the location has changed, the theme is the same: cheese, cheese, and just a little more cheese. In all its forms, in all its colors, in all its glory, from the mildest to the sharpest. Some examples: pike perch and sauerkraut with Munster cheese; epigram of monkfish with Sainte-Maure cheese; lobster fricassée with Roquefort; lamb noisettes with Saint-Marcellin cheese, or extra-thin pear and Roquefort pie. The cheese plate is, as one might expect, extremely impressive. A €28 prix-fixe lunch menu is offered.
