Antika Restaurant Review:
Folks used to traveling downtown or even to Brooklyn for good Neapolitan pizza and grandma slices can rejoice. This Italian restaurant, which serves most dishes family-style or in single-serving portions, is a welcome dining option in a neighborhood underserved in this New York food staple. While the wine list leaves something to be desired, few of the bottles will put much of a dent in your wallet. Pizza is the real star --- though the beer-steamed mussels with mascarpone broth and an antipasto salad are worthy starters. Sandwiches on fresh oven-baked bread are smart lunch choices and made to order. Desserts feature the pizza dough but with a Nutella pairing in both calzone and pizza forms.
