Located in the lobby of the Scandinavia House, a foundation dedicated to promoting all aspects of the Fiordish Nations, the chef has the perfect atmosphere to bring his specialties like gravlax and Swedish meatballs to a wider cross section of the public. Even Scandinavian beer is available. The perfection is in the presentation---fun and simple is the model, with gravlax used as a pizza topping and Swedish meatballs incorporated into a wonderful submarine sandwich with goat cheese, pickled beets and roasted onions on five-grain bread. Table service and take-out are available, and intriguing art exhibits add to the ambiance of the stunning building.
