The restaurant of the Astor Westin Demeure Hotel, with its surprising 1940s décor and Directoire chairs, showcases the talents of Joël Robuchons star pupil, Éric Lecerf. In charge of the kitchen, the disciple is clearly demonstrating that even though he closely follows the masters footsteps, he is now capable of coming into his own. Youll find Robuchon-inspired dishes like spider crab in anise jelly with fennel cream and calfs sweetbreads with Parmesan shavings, as well as ideas hes picked up here and there, such as the Pyrenees-inspired sole with baby calamaries and artichokes or the Castillian milk-fed leg of lamb with slowly simmered vegetables. Brilliant wine list with wide choice of half-bottles and regional wines. Service in grand style. A lunch menu is offered for €50.
