Atlantic Fish Company Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant: If you thought Atlantic Fish Company was more of a tourist trap, think again. Locals in the know flock here as well for some of the city's best (and freshest) seafood dishes.

Food & Drinks: This upscale Back Bay restaurant features classic raw bar staples along with appetizers like lobster ravioli with shiitake mushrooms in a basil cream sauce. Pair a glass of Pinot Grigio with a cup of sea bass chowder or fish stew before moving on to a generous portion of tuna tartare. While lobster (prepared fra diavolo style, boiled, or tossed lightly with mayo for a fresh lobster roll) and crab dishes have their own section on the menu, specialties abound with fried captain's platters, pan-seared sea bass and sautéed swordfish piccata. Meat lovers can nosh on a ten-ounce filet mignon, 14-ounce New York strip, or a "carpetbagger" with fried oysters and shallot sauce. Round it all off with a heaping slice of peppermint stick ice cream pie with rich chocolate ganache.
