THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Au Pressoir Restaurant Review:
Forgotten by most Parisians since the Colonial Exposition closed 60 years ago, the Porte Dorée district is home to a covey of fine restaurants. Le Pressoir numbers among them. Chef Henri Séguin cooks with fine ingredients and a generous spirit, shown to advantage in dishes like scallop fricassée with wild mushrooms, codfish brandade with asparagus, or in season a sumptuous hare à la royale. The lavish setting includes private air-conditioned dining rooms, cigar cellar, patinated wood paneling and doorman to park your car, all of which you pay for. Expensive cellar.
