Books for Cooks Restaurant Review:

It's surprising that this place is so unique: a tiny café in a shop that only stocks food and wine books. The dishes on the set lunch (£7 for 2 courses) are produced from the recipe books in the shop, so the variety is wide. They’re cooked by a changing rotation of chefs, who always manage to produce good results, ranging from a soup through three simple courses to a choice of two or three desserts. It's a mecca for every self-respecting foodie, and the knowledgeable staff is always happy to discuss and advise on the food (and, of course, sell you the book which inspired your meal).
