Longtime chef-owner Bruno Orsi co-owned this classic Italian restaurant for many years with Lorenzo Petroni, a charismatic character known by friends before his death in 2014 as the Mayor of North Beach. Enjoy Orsi's authentic Northern Italian-style pastas, chicken cooked under a brick, and a wide array of meat dishes. Dine on the main floor surrounded by handsome wood wainscoting or downstairs in the private dining areas. Pair your meal with wines from a carefully selected array of Californian and Italian vintages. The basement has a small prosciutto curing room with hams hanging overhead.
