Ted's Bulletin Restaurant Review:
Taking DC---or, at least, Capitol Hill---by storm, Ted’s Bulletin steps back a few decades with its Americana food, with a retro look at milkshakes, bountiful breakfasts (served most of the day), Sunday supper dishes like buttermilk country fried steak with a crunchy coating, and a selection of burgers to tickle any fancy. How about the Ted’s burger with a fried egg and grilled cheese bread, or the quirky Drew’s peanut butter bacon burger with jam on the side? Another big hit: the kitchen’s version of Pop Tarts, baked on the premises sweets for dessert or, maybe, for breakfast. You could---and maybe should---spend the whole day here eating; the problem is, the lines out the door might inspire the staff to ask for the table or counter seat. Whatever you do, work this place into your schedule; you’ll be the plumper for it.
