In the lofty former nineteenth-century market, with a mosaic floor, copper bar and alfresco tables lending ageless warmth, the twenty-first century is clearly in evidence thanks to seasonal, familiar dishes elevated by innovative touches: fish-of-the-day with fennel and farro; hearty County Line Farm kale pizzetta with lemon oil; bone-in pork chop accompanied by sweet potato purée and pear demi-glace. House cocktails are also well crafted; consider the Wild Child, comprising Reposado tequila, sage, chili, egg white and lime.
