Beach House Café, with a relaxed atmosphere and windows dominating its white façade, recalls a quaint seaside retreat. Only the avenue view and the absence of sand beneath your feet keep you anchored in Old Greenwich. The Oval Bar's sky-blue and pale sea foam hues, enhanced by a smattering of grassy marsh plants, further the shoreline motif, while black-on-white cushions and murals add vaguely urban touches to the dining room. The menu follows suit, keeping the contemporary coastal American fare invitingly simple. Begin with a refreshing, citrusy avocado and grapefruit salad.
