Beechwood, which is partly lounge and partly restaurant, offers an inviting open patio, fire pit, fun vibe and lively bar scene. Roy Choi, who made a name for himself with his food truck Kogi Korean BBQ-To-Go before moving on to A-Frame and Chego, prepares comforting dishes like grilled cheese with tomato soup. Order the B & N edamame with a martini followed by togarashi garlic fries made from regular and sweet potatoes. For an entrée, we suggest his sous-vide Jidori chicken washed down with a beer on tap or steak frites paired with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. The service is friendly and a night out here won't break the bank.
