Bistrot Margot has remained the go-to for classic French bistro food, from onion soup to salad Lyonnaise to croque-madame, coq au vin and steak with hot crispy frites. Garlicky-good escargots is also a winner, as are the profiteroles for dessert. Inside, the Parisian atmosphere hasn’t changed much in years, but a dog-friendly sidewalk patio now offers great people-watching on Wells Street in Old Town. Enjoy classic cocktails and a menu of affordable wines while you're here.
