THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer Restaurant Review:
About the restaurant: You can relive your inner child or bring along your favorite youngster at this popular midtown luncheonette-restaurant. Lines that snake along the sidewalk give a hint at the fun inside. Craft burgers, salads, spicy Korean wings and other casual menu items are served at the bar or in booths reminiscent of classic soda fountains of yore. All of this is a prelude to the pièce de résistance: “Crazy Shakes” in recipes and presentations so creative that they’re worthy of all the Instagram shots taken daily.
Likes: Nostalgia and good times.
Dislikes: Frequent birthday parties and large tables can make for a frenetic and loud environment.
Food & Drinks: Start your meal with The Greg Norman burger made with Wagyu beef, accompanied by craveworthy onion rings or fries. The Californian is a turkey burger with Swiss cheese, avocado and truffle mayo. But leave room for an aforementioned milkshake --- you won’t be allowed to depart without trying one. Go for the Cotton Candy version, as pretty as it is delicious. Cocktails are served, too, in mason jars and a selection of craft beer and wine is offered.
