THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bliss Restaurant Review:
This longtime Avenue of the Arts restaurant offers contemporary American cuisine with a decidedly Italian accent. Dishes include a grilled asparagus salad with lardons, fried egg and truffle vinaigrette, as well as pan-seared scallops over butternut squash risotto with bacon marmalade and Tuscan kale. For dessert, don't miss the flourless chocolate tort with vanilla gelato. Bliss has a snappy array of martinis, imported and local beers, and a nicely balanced wine list, with special prices Monday through Friday during happy hour. There’s a good bar menu, too. The space is calming with its backlit glass wall depicting teal blue water.
