THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Bluepoint Grill & Noir Bar
A stylish seafood dispensary improbably located 8,700 feet above sea level. Less surprising, in western Colorado, are the good steaks.

THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Bluepoint Grill & Noir Bar Restaurant Review:
This hip and sophisticated restaurant in a downtown Telluride Victorian is noteworthy for its super-fresh seafood, as well as the kinds of good steaks and chops that you'd expect in Colorado. The restaurant express-ships its shellfish, including oysters that are served on the half-shell. Mussels come with a choice of broths. New England clam chowder is as good as it gets in mid-continent. Expect interesting preparations and attractive presentations of rock cod, mahi mahi, salmon, tilapia, trout, grouper and other fish. Sweet pies, including in-season fruit, and a rich warm brownie headline the dessert list. In winter, the fireplace is a warm and glowing focal point to the dining experience. In summer, there is optional outdoor dining. The restaurant has a commendable wine list, but martinis are the specialty of the downstairs Noir Bar, where the action continues until 2 a.m.
