Bobby's Bistro & Wine Bar Restaurant Review:

Bobby's Bistro is adjacent to Bob Heilman's Beachcomber and shares some of the same menu and extensive 20,000-bottle wine cellar. What's different is the casual alternative it offers to the Beachcomber. All items are à la carte, from pizzas to sandwiches to steak and pasta. The stone floors and big patio crowded with tropical plants also contribute to a cozier feel. The wines, in fact, are stored throughout the bistro, lining the walls as well as the glassed-in wine cellar. The Bistro Potato is an especially popular dish: sliced potatoes mixed with onions and cheese, baked and topped with raclette cheese and served in a wedge. You may also want to try the one-pound pork chop or the handmade house-rolled ravioli. There's also fresh fish, sometimes international.
