Better-than-average, classic Korean clad in a hip coat.
Boka Restaurant Review:
This St. Mark’s Place eatery is set in a chic-looking space emitting Euro-electronica tunes amid the mostly youngish crowd. The menu is loaded with Korean classics like seven variations on bibimbap (but served on a sizzling hot stone) and savory kimchi-infused pancakes. Korean sweet potatoes are transformed into fries and slightly sugared. Bon chon chicken is a Korean take on traditional chicken wings, served spicy hot, which is the perfect reason to order another Korean or Japanese beer --- they’re priced to drink. Service is attentive and quite helpful if menu explanations are needed.
