THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Bombay Club Restaurant Review:
This glassed-in Indian mainstay in Harvard Square has the feel of an elegant hotel room. Perched on the second floor of a mini-mall on JFK Street, it offers a view worthy of a mid-meal diversion---namely of Ivy Leaguers lounging on Winthrop Square. Not that that's saying much. The samosas, pappadum, tandoori and other traditional dishes aren't bad, but neither are they particularly memorable or authentic. This is your standard Americanized curry, sans mind-blowing heat and depth of spice. Still, the twin advantages of familiarity and affordability hold it up.
