THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Brasil's Restaurant Review:
Mellow Brazilian music, waterfalls tumbling over roughhewn stone and glowing aquariums set the tone for a fun, South American-themed evening here. Start with a caipirinha made of fresh lime and sugar cane syrup---definitely the exotic drink of the moment among the trendy set. The appetizers may disappoint, but a big stew of shellfish in coconut milk, or Chilean sea bass with mango salsa make suitable entrées. The Brazilian national dish, feijoda, a lusty stew of meats and black beans, is served only on weekends. After a refreshing mango or coconut sorbet for dessert, on most nights you can head upstairs for some Latin dancing upstairs-with instruction.
