This elegant, semi-vintage setting offers what may be the most awesome view of Denver, a panorama that stretches for miles before you as downtown twinkles at your. If only the food were as lofty. Instead of plating up heavenly morsels, the Hill serves up modest attempts at continental cuisine that come up consistently short. The meat, potatoes and pasta lineup are only a few steps above strip mall chain caliber and hardly worth the high-altitude price tag. The wine list is middle-of-the-road. We suggest the Hill for a pre-dinner cocktail or a quiet post-meal snifter as the snow falls.
