Cafe Dufrain Restaurant Review:
Being located on Harbour Island means this restaurant is almost more accessible by boat than by car; nonetheless, landlocked diners have found its comfort food menu appealing. They are drawn by the restaurant's promise that at least 75 percent of its menu consists of sustainable, organic or local food. Dinner entrées reflect the creativity required to keep to that pledge: house citrus pappardelle with local shrimp and Cedar Key clams in a roasted-tomato tasso broth, or the Argentinean skirt steak with chimichurri, yucca fries and marinated tomatoes. Desserts, naturally homemade, vary nightly.
