THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cafe Panache Restaurant Review:
Café Panache replaces the defunct 321 Ashland with an American menu that is at once affordable and very well conceived. Folks looking for a satisfying steak dinner---a cut above, so to speak---can’t do much better than the chef’s steak served medium-rare with crispy onions. We can also recommend the boned and roasted chicken breast. As for starters, you might consider the grilled Italian sausage with polenta, but add to that the grilled ciabatta bread with tomato jam. At last, of course, comes dessert, and while the cheesecake of the month sounds like a winner, you will be very happy indeed with the lemon tart drizzled with raspberry coulis: the joys of lemon meringue pie in a gentrified presentation.
