THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cafe Stravaganza Restaurant Review:
Stravaganza definitely has staying power: the café has anchored the south entrance of Crossroads Boulevard since 1991. It’s a family-run place with a kid-friendly aesthetic and broad menu (and a staff happy to accommodate special requests), attributes responsible for the restaurant's ongoing popularity. At lunch, folks are lucky to find a seat, but there are always a few extra --- and heat lamps --- on the enclosed back patio. We take pleasure in the juicy lamb sandwich, the several slices of roasted leg meat sharing triangles of herbed focaccia topped with a good heaping of sautéed mushrooms and onions. The sandwich comes with a generous side of fries, but those, which are just okay, go ignored. At breakfast, order the Athena omelet --- feta cheese, wilted spinach and artichoke hearts with home-fried potatoes hit the spot.
