THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cafe Troia Restaurant Review:
A touch of sophistication grounded in the old-world flair of its family-run origins makes Café Troia a lively and generous host for fresh, home-style Italian dining. Its reputation is founded on a luscious osso buco, with tender shards of herbed veal falling off the shank, as well as its seasonal risottos, which might be infused with wild mushrooms or saffron and shrimp. Café Troia also uses organic, cruelty-free meats; its veal is humanely raised and antibiotic free; its chicken free-range; its fish line-caught; and its seasonal produce is purchased at the local farmers market. In addition, since its move into larger quarters across the street from its longtime location, Troia is able to offer both a more spacious, comfortable setting for customers and an updated kitchen complete with charbroiler. There are three private dining rooms, one with a covered courtyard and garden. Put all these pleasures together and it’s no wonder the place attracts such a comely crowd of diners.
