Cafe Tu Tu Tango Restaurant Review:
While most people smile at the name, they are not sure what to expect at Café Tu Tu Tango. An eclectic hangout, Tu Tu Tango is technically a tapas eatery, serving appetizer-size entrées, which arrive as they are prepared. Servers suggest ordering many starters --- along with a pitcher of the house sangría --- to share with everybody at the table. Done this way, the food comes in waves, a flurry of culinary activity. Throughout the dining room, you'll find many artistic endeavors: artists painting on easels, belly-dancing, flamenco demonstrations, a tarot card reader and magician. Food spans many nations, from crispy falafel with pineapple-tahini sauce, steamed edamame, fish tacos with chile-lime crème fraîche and alligator jambalaya, to Argentinean chimichurri steak skewers. Other standouts include duck confit and chicken quesadillas and Thai shrimp lollipops.
