Anyone craving Parisian flavors should head for this sparkling, stylish bistro in downtown Portland. The menu focuses on French classics---escargots, mussels in cream, croque monsieur, coq au vin, bifsteak frites---all served with a relaxed Northwest attitude. Located across from Keller Auditorium, Carafe is a good choice for a pre- or post-show dinner, although many downtown business folk consider it power lunch-central.
