Carmine's Restaurant Review:

Modeled after the eponymous New York City restaurant, Carmine’s brings classic Italian dining to the Marina Village at Atlantis Resort. The idea is to feel like you’re eating at a family Italian feast --- or perhaps overeating is more accurate, as all the dishes come super-sized to be shared among two to four people. The menu directs you to seek the advice of your server where appropriate meal-planning is concerned. You will find all the usual Italian suspects, including Caesar salad and zuppa di mussels for starters. Pick your variety of pasta, then sauce such as marinara, giardiniera, Bolognese or white mixed seafood. You also can select from several preparations of chicken, veal, seafood and porterhouse steak. Popular choices include shrimp scampi, chicken Marsala, veal saltimbocca and porterhouse pizzaiola. For dessert there’s an ice cream and chocolate torte known as the “Titanic.” The restaurant offers cocktails, beer and an adequate wine list.
