THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Carnevale Restaurant Review:
Venetian carnival masks dot the walls of this dark, cozy and romantic spot where the food, wine and culture of Northern Italy set the tone, and theres a formidable Italian wine list. Owner Tom Hoffmaster minds the store most evenings, greeting and dining with guests who return again and again. Chef Josef Rasicci is especially handy with the fresh fish that is flown in daily, as well as savory meats and hand-rolled pastas. We like his delectable veal chop served with a red wine-horseradish sauce. The tiramisu is prepared in the authentic Tuscan style---not as a cake but as a custard. Come for a relaxed conversational dinner.
