A longtime favorite with Marina residents, the Casa has been serving up its south-of-the-border nightclub ambience and passable Mexican food since 1976, when Peter Escobar and wife Cora opened shop. Specialties include burritos stuffed with chile Colorado or carnitas, tamales and shrimp simmered in butter. A Sunday brunch buffet features an omelet bar, menudo, chile rellenos, tamales, Champagne and orange juice to drink, and mariachis for your listening pleasure. Depending on the night, you'll find dancing, karaoke, flamenco or a live DJ playing hot salsa.
