THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Center Cut Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
Black-and-white décor suggests a classic Las Vegas atmosphere, enhanced by plasma screens throughout the restaurant, displaying photo montages from the 1940’s to today, a nod to the 60-plus years the Flamingo has been in operation on the Strip. The menu features huge cuts of meat, including a 24-ounce porterhouse and 20-ounce bone-in rib-eye, made with hormone- and steroid-free beef, sourced from exclusive farms in Colorado, Kansas and New York. Be sure to try the lobster chowder, which comes with a cheddar-garlic biscuit. Oysters Rockefeller are loaded with sautéed spinach, bacon, béarnaise and Pernod. A wide variety of seafood entrées is available as well, like pan-seared Atlantic salmon with andouille, mushrooms and cheesy grits. For dessert, try the seven-inch-high, 18-layer chocolate cake, a gargantuan display with whipped cream, chocolate mousse and truffle ganache. The wine list proposes selections from world-renowned wineries in France, New Zealand, Italy, Argentina, Australia, Germany, Chile, Oregon, California and Washington.
