Central BBQ Restaurant Review:
Although the original flagship store for Central BBQ is teensy, the third outpost boasts more than enough room for lunch rushes and private meetings. Messy ribs and piled-high pulled pork sandwiches dominate the menu, but Central also serves fiery hot wings (marinated, smoked, then fried), homemade potato chips with blue cheese dip, and a smoked portobello mushroom sandwich. Only beer is available to those imbibing, but Central offers a nice assortment of Memphis-made craft brews. Desserts include cheesecake, banana pudding, or the cool and creamy peanut butter pie.
