THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Century Restaurant & Bar Restaurant Review:
Century Restaurant & Bar offers a stunning re-creation of an opulent railroad car and train station of the early 1900s (a nod to the trains that still run through the bowels of the Tower City Center, where the hotel is located). Century's menu has always focused on seafood, but also boasts an Indian twist thanks to chef Rajesh Kattaria. For lunch, Century's bento box is fun and surprisingly affordable; for dinner, throw your budget to the wind and order the chef's whim or a beautiful selection of expertly-made sushi. On Wednesdays, the restaurant's wine list is half price with the purchase of dinner, so select a bottle yourself or ask a knowledgeable server for help. Pastry chef Elliot Callahan seems to work overtime producing delight and whimsy in the kitchen; regardless of what you order, each meal ends with a silver bowl full of pink cotton candy.
