Chez Rene Restaurant Review:
The president François Mitterand had the habit of taking his daughter, Mazarine, to lunch in this characteristic bistro on the banks of the Seine. Given this patina framework, the Cantin family started off--between mouldings, globular lamps, and mosaic tiling--to give the establishment a second youth. You can appreciate even more the glass of Pomerol from Clos René and the traditional cuisine with Lyonnais accents, like the chicken liver terrine, pistachio sausage, and beet gratin all bear witness to (about €35 à la carte).
