Christini's Ristorante Italiano Restaurant Review:
For a splurge and old-fashioned professional service, Christini’s is a sure bet. Chris Christini has been greeting customers at his Southwest Orlando restaurant for more than four decades, and it’s consistently a top place to entertain upscale clients if you're on a business trip. Dark wood and luxurious fabrics evoke a bygone era of fine dining, and the attentive and knowledgeable servers further elevate the experience. There are no surprises on the menu, with starters like caprese salad, pasta fagioli soup and fried calamari. The signature veal chop with fresh sage and Calvados, chicken piccata and braised lamb shank with Parmesan orzo are stand-out entrées. Pastas range from homemade ravioli with tomato-cream sauce to lobster served over linguine with spicy tomato sauce. Sweet endings are Italian classics like tiramisu, tartufo and zabaglione custard. Christini's solid wine list includes a range of French, American and Italian selections, many offered by the glass.
