THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Ciao Bella Restaurant Review:
This open, airy, yet cozy restaurant has taken root in a location that has been difficult for previous restaurants. No doubt the consistently high-quality food from chef-owner Antonio Caggiano is the main factor for this achievement. Caggiano's menu is both authentic and creative, combining fresh ingredients in rustic preparations that vary seasonally. Highlights include pastas such as gnocchi al pesto con pinoli (gnocchi in a basil-pinenut sauce with pesto and garlic); thin, crisp pizzas; and fresh seafood and seasonal game presentations. In addition to full bar service, the restaurant has compiled a modest list of carefully chosen and fairly priced wines. For a special celebration or group gathering, we recommend the private wine cellar.
