THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Coca-Cola Cafe Restaurant Review:
At the Atlanta History Center, nutritional needs and a nod to the city's history unite in the Coca-Cola Café, a neon-splashed flashback to an earlier time when a date consisted of a hot dog and a Coke. Donna Palmer and Tony Privat, who brought great Cajun food to town at the original French Quarter Food Shop, took over this operation a short while ago. The smoked chicken salad sandwich, and homemade soups (how 'bout chicken and sausage gumbo?) are high points. With Privat's background, jambalaya shows up from time to time. The cake of the day may be Champagne or carrot, and there are a variety of cookies, Coke floats and milk shakes.
