Tucked into an unassuming shopping strip on a busy road buzzing with college students, Contempo Cuisine is mostly a catering establishment, which is to say it isn't always open. But when it is, it offers up notable kosher food. Inside, linen-topped tables, china and crystal---and a kosher wine list---make this dinner destination nice enough to bring kosher-keeping friends and business associates. Appetizers include a grilled, sun-dried tomato bruschetta as well as pasta aglioli. Beef, veal and seafood are all available with simple but inventive preparations. Try the apricot chicken or the grilled rib-eye with rum glaze. Both are served with a side salad, vegetable and choice of potato or rice. House-made cakes and pastries are available too. The wine list is short and descriptive.
