THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cresheim Cottage Cafe Restaurant Review:
This is a picturesque cottage on the cobblestone street that witnessed the first shots of the Battle of Germantown in 1777, when American Colonial troops fired on British Pickets. Troops are no longer billeted in its cozy rooms, and stagecoaches no longer thunder by, but you can brunch, lunch or dine in these historic surroundings. The chef/co-owner, Donna Fitzgerald Robb, and her partner/co-owner Lizza Robb place the emphasis on fresh, seasonal and local fare with plenty of vegetarian options. Try the wild salmon with tomato risotto or Italian meatloaf stuffed with mozzarella and red peppers. The family-friendly restaurant offers a fine menu for the under-10 set.
