Custom House Restaurant Review:

With its prime oceanfront location overlooking Avila Beach, Custom House is a pretty popular spot, which means sometimes the food and service can suffer. Still, the view can’t be beat, so set your expectations accordingly and relax with a cold draft, glass of local wine, or a spicy Bloody Mary. Among our seafood favorites on the straightforward menu are the grilled fish sandwich, fish ‘n’ chips, and the ahi tostaditas --- a spin on nachos with sashimi. Good landlubber options include the Cobb salad, St. Louis-style ribs, and the weekend prime rib. For dessert, go for the olallieberry pie.
