THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Degustation Restaurant Review:

After reinventing Japanese robata and Korean kalbi concepts, proprietors Jack and Grace Lamb get it right, fusing sushi bar intimacy with globally inspired small plates. Within the slate-walled perimeter, 16 seats cluster around a wooden bar where chef Wesley Genovart flaunts his Vongerichten-trained talents right before diners’ hungry eyes. Menu items may include crispy sweetbreads with cucumber and dill Greek yogurt spiced with Thai chilies, and a "cheese steak" made of tomato and roasted red pepper escalivada, raclette cheese, pain de mie and an herb salad. For a truly flavorful evening, choose the chef’s five-course tasting menu. Reasonably priced, well-chosen wine flights complete the experience, making it even more cost effective.
