THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED DeLaCosta Restaurant Review:
Start your evening with a poptail (signature martinis with booze-infused mini popsicles) or what may be the city’s best mojito. The menu is a flashy one---a fact that’s echoed by the baroque-inspired Suhail interior. The ceviches are topnotch (if overpriced)---especially the fluke with preserved lemon, threads of chili, braised scallions, olives, caper berries and parsley. We also recommend the olive oil-poached halibut and the crispy crackling pork on a bed of black bean purée when it’s available. Desserts are showy but fall flat. If you’re feeling particularly flush, reserve a private cabana.
